Jennifer is also available for Website & Product design, and for a host of other artist needs you may have.
Jennifer Tiles is a multidisciplinary artist living in White Rock, BC. Her passion for the Arts began at an early age. Art is fulfilling for Jennifer, and she happily dedicates her life to artistic pursuits. Jennifer has always been inspired and influenced by art history. She is particularly fond of the works in the Renaissance and Baroque periods, the Pop Art movement of the 50’s. She is inclined to view contemporary animation, film and 3D art from the purview of the latter. Jennifer takes versatility to be a virtue for any artist, and this has prompted her to study art from both academic and technical perspectives. Her training involves a diploma in Fine Arts from Kwantlen University, a B.A. in Art and Culture Studies from Simon Fraser University, a Digital Animation certificate from BCIT and most recently a Management Certificate in Graphic Design (with distinction) from Emily Carr.
Jennifer’s interests extent beyond traditional media. She has worked as an art director for the Leo Award Winning short film entitled “Will-Of-The-Wisp”. She is active in the community, painting murals and teaching art classes at local recreation centers, and has been the artistic co-coordinator for World Suicide Prevention Day. Jennifer is also a freelance graphic designer, and works as a research assistant for First Nations artist and nature activist, Dr. Annie Ross of Simon Fraser University. Jennifer has recently taken up a position as an associate instructor in Fine Arts Department at Kwantlen University.
